Learning a language may be best taught by hearing and then repeating the words. Like most languages, Yup'ik has many dialects. The pronunciations may differ from region to region, but the words are basically the same. The following translations use both the Yukon and Kuskokwim dialects. (These words will be tested for the LYSD Yup'ik Level 1 assessment.)
